 Hankook Tire introduced two new winter performance tires to the Russian and CIS markets, the “Winter i*cept evo” and the “Winter i*Pike LT” at the Moscow International Automobile Salon 2010.

 Hankook’s Winter i*cept evo, the ultimate in winter performance tires, features a dual function asymmetric tread design with three longitudinal grooves for wet braking aquaplaning. Also it is optimized with a new silica compound while 3D kerfs are applied to ensure high block hardness and maximize the Kerf edge effect on dry and snowy roads.

 The Winter i*Pike LT, Hankook’s new durable stud winter tire for vans and light trucks, is expected to offer incredible traction and control on snow and ice-covered roads ensuring safer winter driving.

 The newly launched Winter i*cept evo and Winter i*Pike LT are the results of Hankook’s continuing innovation in high-performance winter tires that have been constantly recognized by renowned tire tests like those conducted by ADAC and Gute Fahrt. Moreover, the Hankook i*cept and i*Pike winter tires each received environmental protection awards. As long ago as 2004 they were awarded the Swan, the official and highly prestigious Scandinavian eco-label. The Winter i*cept evo is also a winner of the Red Dot Design Award this year.

 Moreover, Hankook Tire’s new TBR products, AL10, DL10 and TL10 attract many visitors well.

 Hankook Tire Russia office also held a dealer conference on August 26. More than 60 dealers were invited the dealer conference. The dealers are not only from Russia but also from all over the CIS countries. Also the employees from EU Head office, global Head office and R&D center joined the conference. The dealers had a chance to be introduced Hankook Tire’s new vision on Russian and CIS markets and new products as well.
