at Redline Time Attack Las Vegas
Hankook Tire leaves Las Vegas with eight podiums for second event in a row
Wayne, NJ, April 30, 2010 - Hankook Tire’s Time Attack teams opened the season in Buttonwillow with eight podium finishes and a new track record ? a tough act to follow. No worries, Hankook teams left Las Vegas with another eight podiums including five first place wins and the overall victory.
“We are extremely pleased with the performance of our teams,” said Jason Kim, motorsports marketing manager, Hankook Tire America Corp. “Obviously we know how strong the competition is at these events and how successful our tires are, but it is the teams, the crew, the drivers that put in the work and the dedication to make it click when the pressure is on. We hope to carry this momentum through the entire season.”
Posting a time of 1:39.657 in the warm Las Vegas sun, GST Motorsports not only took the Super Modified AWD class but also clinched the overall win once again for Hankook. The GST Motorsports Subaru Sti competes exclusively on the Ventus Z214 tire.
